  • Updated

All our Cart Abandonment emails are sent from the Cymbal platform. At Eventim US, all our clients benefit from Cart Abandonment emails even if you don't have a Cymbal account, as seen below:

If you have a Cymbal account, you will be able to customize your Cart Abandonment email, like in this example:

How to customize your Cart Abandonment emails in your Cymbal account

If you would like to create and activate a custom Cart Abandonment email within your Cymbal account, follow these steps to ensure that potential ticket buyers will receive the custom email instead of the Eventim branded one:

  1. You will have to create your own account within the Cymbal platform.
  2. Once you have your Cymbal account, you can start to create your custom cart abandonment email. (Learn how to do it here)
  3. Make sure that within your Cymbal account, your custom cart abandonment email is ON.

  4. Log into your Eventim US Client account.
  5. Make sure that your user has the "Integrations Settings" checked (This permission can be found in your Client/Venue Dashboard > Manage > Users > Click on the Pen icon displayed next to the user you want to check > Market > Integrations Settings).

If you encounter any issue with this step, pleach reach out to your Client Service Manager and they will be able to assist you.

How to see the performance/stats of your Custom Cart Abandonment emails

This data is only available on your Cymbal account; no information related to the statistics and performance of cart abandonment emails is available within your Eventim account.

Once custom cart abandonment emails are starting to be sent to potential customers, you will be able to see the data reflecting the performance of your cart abandonment email by logging into your Cymbal account and then going in Emails > Automations > Select relevant email > Analytics > There, you will see the following metrics:

Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 3.24.50 PM.png
  • Total Sent: Total number of recipients who received the message.
  • Open Rate: Total emails opened divided by the total emails sent. This number is not 100% accurate because some email clients disable tracking pixels.
  • Click Rate: Total unique recipients who clicked a link divided by the total number of recipients. If a recipient clicks multiple links, they are only counted once in this statistic. Unsubscribe links are excluded.
  • Conversion Rate: An email is credited for a customer's purchase if the purchase occurs within 10 days of opening the email and this campaign was the latest marketing transaction received.
  • Attributed Tickets Sold: An email is credited for a customer's purchase if the purchase occurs within 10 days of opening the email and this campaign was the latest marketing transaction received.
  • Attributed Revenue: An email is credited for a customer's purchase if the purchase occurs within 10 days of opening the email and this campaign was the latest marketing transaction received.
  • Bounces: Total emails that were not delivered to the recipient because the email address is invalid.

In addition to these items, you will also be able to see additional data related to each email recipient such as the Status of the email (Sent, Opened or Clicked) and if the cart abandonment email triggered a purchase (if that's the case, the revenue generated by the customer's purchase will be displayed right under the seven performance indicators mentioned above).
