Cymbal Integration

Eventim has partnered with Cymbal (a native marketing automation add-on) to provide the opportunity to integrate events with the Cymbal platform. Through this integration, you will will now be able to benefit from a wide range of functionalities such as: 

  • Automated presale, on-sale, reminder, and post-show flows
  • Re-engagement of lapsed buyers
  • Better targeting by genre, venue, and artist

How to integrate your Eventim US account with Cymbal?

Step 1: Get your Eventim US Client ID 

Once you have access to Cymbal, you will need to log into the Eventim US platform and look for your Client ID.

This Client ID can be found within the left navigation of your Client Dashboard under the MARKET section, click on the "API Credentials" menu item and on the right side of your screen you will see it.

Step 2: Connect your Accounts

Log into your Cymbal account and within the left navigation, select "Settings" and then "Integrations". Then select "Connect with a ticketer" and "Eventim US". You can then enter your Eventim US Client ID. You will have the opportunity to define some details related to how the integration should handle tags and contact lists:

Step 3: Congrats, your events are now integrated!

To confirm that the integration was done successfully, you can go back on the Homepage of your Cymbal account and check that your Event list correctly reflects the events you created within the Eventim platform.
