Overview

Link is a Stripe’s built-in wallet that autofills your customers’ payment information to create an easy and secure checkout experience.

1. Customers create an account with Link and securely save payment methods.
2. On any Link-enabled business, it is presented as a faster checkout option.
3. Customer chooses a saved payment method for payment.

Link on Eventim US Checkout

On eligible orders, customers will be able to authenticate with Link and choose among their saved payment methods. Eventim’s Link integration supports card and Instant Bank Payments (which allow customers to pay using a US bank account).

Things to Know

• Orders paid with Instant Bank Payments are treated as a card payment, however since there is no real card, they will have a fixed value for the last 4 digits (0000).
• Payment methods are shown dynamically based on factors like customers location – Eventim US has no control over how they are presented.
• IBP payments will use the same purchase limit setting as card payments.
• Link orders are searchable/retrievable just as any other order, except for IBP orders that require Will Call Pickup – since there is no real card to retrieve, order needs to be located through another parameter (order number, name, etc.).
• Refunds and chargebacks work almost the same as card payments.
